I've been fighting my annual SAD with some difficulty, and frankly slacking on my writing. To get over this, I'm opening a call for drabble prompts. One hundred words set in any of my worlds, Tez and Maria, For Your Safety, The Red Vixen Adventures, the Dragon's Companion, or the Triumvirate universe. Any subject, so long as it's around PG-13 at worst.

In return, I'm going to post one a day. Every Day. For the year. 365 days. 36,500 words. Less than full novel honestly.

If I can't at least do that, I don't deserve to be called a writer.
  • Listening to: The Sharing Knife: Beguilement
  • Reading: Firefox
  • Playing: Temple Run
  • Eating: My words
  • Drinking: Grape Sode

Oh wow. That sounds awesome, and like a really fantastic resolution. I really look forward to every piece that you write!

I'm going to finish Book 1 of One Question this year. And Blank.

We can do this. 2013 is going to be great!

Good luck! I really want to see where One Question is going.

Feel free to give me some prompts. I've only gotten seven on LJ so far, so I've need, um... 358 more. ;p

what's a drabble prompt?

Not sure if this is really clear now, so in case it's not, let me try:
A drabble is a bit of fiction 100 words long.
A prompt is something that inspires (in this case) a piece of fiction.

You can see prompts people left on the prompt call on Livejournal

A short piece of writing equaling exactly 100 words. Usually I go over the limit though.

I still don't get what you're asking... you're gonna write 100 words per day?

Exactly, a 100 word scene daily, each day a different scene. Just as a writing exercise to get my creative juices flowing. And to help me I ask others for prompts to give me ideas, which I write up for them.
