The Vulpine ImperiumHistory

The Varn Dominion conquered Vulpine Prime at what turned out to be an auspicious time for the Vulpine.  Well into their world's equivilent of the Industrial Revolution, a new age of Reason had dawned, as their race shook off the old fashioned superstitions of the "Holy Den Mother" in favor of cool, secular Science.  Farm fields were rapidly being plowed over to build new factories, and the dark smoke filling the air of the narrow streets of the new cities was a sure sign of Progress.

When the Varn came, the first reaction of the Industry Lords was to laugh.  Worship a new set of gods, when they had just abandoned their old one?  Rid
Tez's World, a Timeline-500,000: Rise of the Dragons.

-350,000 BD (Before Diversions): Tez is born into a tribe of pre-civilization elves.

-350, 000 to -300,000: First great age of magic.  The gods (mostly) remove themselves from the world.

-300,000 to -250,000: The magic fades over a ten thousand year period.  First great age of technology.  Dragons (semi) voluntarily confine themselves to the Dragon States when the Old Man of the Mountain is confined.

-250,000: Tez nukes the planet for the first time.

-250,000 to -200,000: The Barbaric Age of Magic.

-200,000 to 0: Several cyclical ages of magic and technology trade off.  Tez attempts planetary destruction a
Rock BandedScene: Leeza, Rachael, Rufus and Terinu and getting ready to play the Beatles Rock Band.  Rachael on lead guitar, Rufus on bass, Terinu on vocals and Leeza on the drums.

Leeza: Why do I have to play the drums?

Rachael: Because you're the most boring person here. [1]

Leeza: Oh, haha.  And who are these guys supposed to be again?

Rachael: (sighs) The Beatles, just the greatest rock & roll band in the history of Creation.

Terinu: The who?

Rachael: Not the Who, the Beat--  Oh I hate that joke.

Leeza: And whats rock and roll?

Rachael: It's...  Look, just watch the opening cinematic and figure it out for yourself.

She turns the game on and

Man but that's one great cover! I love the old pulp art, though I wonder how they would have done furry/anthropomorphic characters.

I'm not sure. Someone must have done cover art when "The Ballad of C'mell" was first published. :)
